STRUCTURAL GLAZING

Structural glazing is a system of bonding glass to a building’s structural framing members using a high strength, high-performance silicone sealant specifically designed and tested for this use.

Structural is glass that has gone through a manufacturing process that enables it to be used for structural elements of buildings.

It is highly durable and can withstand dynamic and static loads. Because of its load-bearing capabilities, architects use it to create visually stunning buildings with transparent walls, floors, and ceilings, all allowing natural light to flow in.

Highrise Glazing Services has provided full and semi-structural glazing to many building projects throughout the Greater Toronto Area and Downtown. See our recent projects to view our finished projects using structural glazing.
